I am not very sure weather we assign business system or technical system to software component version or SCV to technical or business sytem.
Tell the procedure how to do it.

Business system
When u create a business system, it asks for selecting installed products and SWC

u get the scenarios from SDN or sap service site.then u assign for inbound and out bound.file to file,filw to idoc.....so,amny scenarios are there.u can create business system and technical systems in SYSTEM SLD.http://hostname:hppt abap port/sld .this is the URL for SLD.

U can assign ur Business System or Technical System only to the Scenario that ur r creating.
To do that go to ID
1.Click on the Object Tab.
2.Right click on the required Business System.
3.Click on the "ADD TO SCENARIO" menu.
4. Select the Scenario name i.e urn that the BS to be added and click on Add button

first u ill be including the software component in ur technical system...
second u ill be creating business system for the technical system...
then u assign business system for ur interfaces(which u created in software component) while configuration....
