NWDS 7.0 with WAS based on 2004?

Can I use NWDS 7.0 with WAS J2EE which is NW2004 based?

It will not work because a NWDS 7.0 generates code that does not run on a NW04 server.

Hi

I worked on this, U will be able to work on some examples.

I remember it throwing error when I was working with adaptive RFC model

I believe it was also problem working with interactive forms

Its better that u usea lower version of NWDS

Certain UIs in Webdynpro 04s are not part of NW 2004. E.g: bread crumb, even the Table properties.

So it is not advisable to use it in this manner. Similarly you will not be able to use CAF-Core. So there is no reason why one must do this. However the otherway round is ok.
