Are there any updates available for the Scaling procedure for PI 7.0 available? The how to document doesn't reflect the installation options available in NW2004S SR2. You can't install a ABAP Dialog Instance and then install a J2EE stack.
The Installation guide for NW2004S SR2 states that you have do a Dialog Instance (with both ABAP and JAVA stacks). My problem is, is that the following step doesn't work:
Start the Visual Administrator. On
the Global Configuration tab page,
navigate to Server → Services →
SAP XI AF CPA Cache
There is no SAP XI AF CPA Cache service on the Java server instance corresponding to my dialog instance. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is true? Is there a different installation option I should have taken? The guide only seems to allows this configuration. Thanks.
