SAP - Outbound Que

Former Member

We are sending PO's from our SAP system to our Outside Vendors using XI.

Many of the IDOCs are locked in SAP's OUTBOUND Que, what could be the Issue? If there are any standard errors that will cause this problem?

Thanks a lot.

Hey

are you sending the IDOC's over HTTP ?its possible that XI is unable to make a connection with the extrenal client and coz of that the messages get stuck in Queues.

try to release all the messages from SMQ2 and SMQ1 and restarts ur messages from R/3

Thanx

Ahmad

Hi,

no there are no standard errors

you just have to go to the queue and find the first one

is it queue in R3 or XI ?

did you activate the queue on XI (SXMB_ADM - register queue)

however

at the bottom of this page:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/25/bcfa40badbf46fe10000000a1550b0/content.htm

you will find a few reports that once scheduled

will restart your queue entries

(if they are locked without errors)

We are using the IDOC Adapters to send the data from R/3 to XI.

The Data is stuck in R/3 Outbound que.

Hi,

so:

1. check if the first entry has any error

2. you can use the reports from the page I mentioned to

schedule restarting queue entries on R3

We Manually restarted the first IDOC in the failed que, still it failed. And when we looked into the SM21 it is sitting there with a smile.

hi,

>>>We Manually restarted the first IDOC in the failed que, still it failed

but there is always a message it's never only "fail"

have a look at the whole message and this will guide you

what the real problem is

did you try doubl clicking on this fail ?

Yes we double clicked on this from /sm21 and we are getting some Hexa Decimal or Binary numbers and have no clue to how to read that?

Thanks.

Hi,

when you're in sm58/smq2

you need to click on the error and not on module name etc

this will show you the error

if you click on anything else you will just see the LUW (Hexa Decimal or Binary numbers )
