changing the BS names in sld ?

Hi Guys,

we configured a scenrio and it works fine. we came to know that server name changes for 3rd party systems frequently and the admin guys has given us now <b>alias names which we need to replace with the previous BS names.

Is there a best way i can make these changes or do i need to define the TS and BS for the new alias and then change for all the scenarios in the ID

can i map the name in sld to different name and it takes automatically in ID ?

any help would be appreciated

no you need to do it manually

Hi Michael,

I want to create a new TS and point to the alias server as the host name and then i will go the old BS and there i will change the TS to the new one pointing to the new alias server as host.

If i do like this, i need to change the BS names and they point to the new TS with the alias as the new host name

plz correct me, if i am wrong
