Integration with legacy systems-CICS Adapter

Hi Experts,

I am interested in ways of integrating a Legacy System/Mainframe with an R3.

-I need documentation, examples or any comment of the CICS adapter.

-Sugestions of other synchronous ways of communication will be apreciated to.
