Urgent assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I am having problems with the working hours calculation in network activities as it is including non working days from the factory calendar that has been pulled through from the work centre.
Example:
Fixed duration of 4 months (March to June 2007) for 1 person at 80% utilisation should calculate to 531.2 hours work time based on factory calandar GB which gives 83 working days. SAP is calculating 768 hours which relates to 120 working days which includes the 37 non working days in the period.
Any ideas on how I can get the calculation to exclude the non working days would be very welcome.
Thanks in anticipation
Dave Chapman
Hai Dave
The first preference for the activity will be the calendar entered and the time entered in the Standard available capacity and corresponding breaks in the workcenter then it will prefer Calendar from Project definition.
The calendar(GB) which u chooses in 5 working days in a week. check whether u r maintaing the same calendar which is in Project definition and in work center and the time in the work center.

Hi Dave
Your problem seems to be with the calender GB. Use transaction SCAL, change factory calender, edit GB, check how many days are assigned as working days. Uncheck Sat & Sun and public holidays if they are assigned. Hope this solves your issue.

Dear Dave,
If you manintained the same factory calendar in both project profile and the work center, then you please check in your workforce planning (tcode cmp2) for the network activities.
I hope you might have entered time booking for that person in holidays also. When you do check availability in workforce planning, you will come to know the no.of holidays and no.of working hours to that person.
Based on the availability of hours to that person book your time and then calculate the capacity at activities level.
Hope this may help you.
All the best!!
