protocols and the webdispatcher

Hi All,

For our XI system we are planning to install a SAP webdispatcher in the DMZ.

The SAP webdispatcher will not work because we are going to use diferent protocols such as http,https,FTP,edifact,as2 etc etc etc

Does anybody has some idea's what to place in the DMZ so that we can handle all kinds of protocols, because the WEBdispatcher can only handle http(s)

Hi,

you can surely use the Web Despatcher, to receive and send

EDIACT messages using AS2 for encryption/decryption.

The communication protocol for this is http.

If you want to use ftp, then you have to place an extra ftp server in the dmz, and make it accessable from

XI inside the firewall.
