Yes u can change the valuation class in the material master

Try this in mm02- accounting tab1

No you can"t change the valuation class if once you cerated any orders for material like or,po

U can change in material master if there is no open PR or PO for the same .

You can only change the valuation class in the material if there is no PR and PO for that particular material.
