creating an alert using BPM

I got to raise an alert when a customer information comes without header details. This is to BE implemented with BPM (file-xi-file scenario). So I am going to use switch step to validate this condition. But on what basis or how to put condition to check whether the incoming file has header details or not ??

Kumar,

While choosing the condition , can u see the operator as <b>EX</b>. U can use it in order to validate if the node available or not. EX is nothing but Exists.
