After mobile client installation synchronization not working error

Dear support,

I have posted same problem in other thread but unable to get any answer,

have installed MI server and configured SLD and post installations are done.

I am able to logon to http://cymobile:50300/nwa/login also evrything on j2ee side is fine.

I have installed mobile clien on my PC and when i go to settings tab and save all security credentials like username client , port as 50300 , host , without proxy settings and SAVE , then i goto HOME tab and press synchrinization button and i get below error,

• Synchronization started

• Connection set up (without proxy) to: http://cymobile:8003/sap/bc/MJC/mi_host?~sysid=MOB&;

• Connection to server failed.

• Problems during synchronization: Server logon failed; internal error. Contact your system administrator.

I would like to provide info on i connect to j2ee engine or SLD through

http://cymobile:50300/nwa/login where 50300 is port and

in transaction SMICM --> services --> HTTP : port is 8003

So in mobile client SETTINGS what port i should give 8003 or 50300 ,

Anyways right now both are giving error when i press SYNCHRONIZATION button

I enabled trace and below things i got , please check the same,

Hi

Firstly you have to use port 8003 only since you are on MI 7.0 which makes use of ABAP Sync Service and the client will synchronize directly against your middleware. You get this problem during sync because the password entered on the client at the time of sync is not the password of the user in the middleware. Basically this error is caused due to a wrong password. But even after you enter the correct password and still get the same error, then make please sure that server side note 979356 is implemted properly in your middleware

Thanks for guidence , but let me know according to note i just need to

basis patch no 12 in my system and no other changes.

Also i enter password during synchronization as password of the user with which i logged in mobile client.

Any other password or user is required or just an r3 user with which u have to provide password during mobile client login and again reprovide while synchronization

Hi,

The password that u provide at the time of synchronization should be the same that you use to login into the middleware. This password maybe different from the one you use to login to the mobile client.

Please use the same password that u use to login to the middleware.
