sales org -plant relation
plant -shipping point relation
Hi Saikiran,
Plant is assigned to a combination of Sales Org and DIstribution Chnl and not to sales org individually. For this the relationship is many to many.
Plant to shipping point is also many to many.

Generally a Sales org -DC is assigned to plant. But a sales org can sell from 'n' no. of plants and 'n' no. of plants can be assigned to one sales org.
Generally a shipping point is assigned to plant. A plant can have 'n' no. of shipping points. Also a shipping point can be assigned to 'n' no.of plants.

The shipping point is the top level in the organization for shipping.
A shipping point can be allocated to several plants.

Plant is highest entity in MM Module. It is assigned to company code.
Sales Org. is highest entity in SD module. It is assigned to Company Code.
Thru company code , these 2 gets connected.
Plant is assigned to a combination of Sales org. + Distribution channel, this is called Sales line
1 plant can have multiple shipping points. multiple shipping points can be assigned to multiple shipping points.
