hi,

you can do this by using condition update tab in the V/06 OF condition type we can restrict a customer from placing maximum number of orders

Process:

for example go to the condition type PR00 and check the condition update button then

go to transaction code VK11 and select the combination of material/customer and maintain the price

then highlight the material then click on go to button

there you can find a tab called limits for pricing

here you can maintain a maximum of 3 orders if you want more than that you have to ask your abaper to amend the code

And map that in the system.

ok thats fine.

but in client they are following some agreement. because reducing the fluctuations in demand and suply. so we have to put certain target to customers. thats why i am asking u how to maintain that min and max targets.

thanks

hi subbu,

go to VK11 select the condition record line item go to additional data there you can see a field where you can maintain the number of orders. By default you can enter maximum 3 orders. But if you want to increase the number you will have to take the help of your abaper.

Hope this will solve your proble.

Minimum Order can be controlled through Material master, which refers to Minimum Order in one Sales Order. You can check MM02 --> Sales Org1 Tab Page.

But as concerned of restricting Maximum Order quantity, I don't think there is any such provision in SAP.

Hi Rajesh,

I think you have got it wrong,it is not max or min number of material quantity...it is question for Min and Max number of orders itself

yes, ur correct.

its not related to material. we have to maintain some where in customer only.

just try where is it.

thanks

Hi Subbu,

You can search your self this field is not provided in customer master.

Ask your ABAPer if he can create new Z fields and add in sales area data

Hi,

As per me you can not force a customer to enter any number of minimum orders.

Because in SAP i don't see any way to map this check.

Correct me if I am wrong Gurus !

For maximum number of orders we can use field exit for Customer field (Sold to party field) in sales order screen. In this field exit you can check in VBAK table for the entered customer how many orders exsists for say one months if it excceds 100 then you can throw error message as Max allowed orders exceeded.

And if not allow the user to process the transaction.

The same way you can flash a information message that only 3 orders are booked for a set target of 10 per month. So GET THE BUSSINESS

Any more ideas are welcome

Hi,

Z table

In the field exit you can cross check VBAK entries with Z table limit

Hi,

I don't think in standard SAP this provision is given.
