access key

Hi all,

can any body suggest me what to do.while im trying to write a small program in ABAP system is not allowing and asking for acess key.Do anybody have any idea

Hi,

You would need to have developer access so that you can develop custom programs. SAP BASIS consultant would generate the access key. You would need to provide the access key for one time and can continue working later on.

Hi,

You need to take this access key from Basis guy.He will register your object on service.sap and get the access key

This is the standard prctice sap is following to register any changes in standard program or creating any Z routines.So that in case of any problems furthur they have a track of it.

If you ask your Basis guy, they will give you an access key to activate ur program.

Generally Access keys are generated based on the installation id. and using the Skey(OSS ID) meant for the installation, basis guys log on to service.sap.com and generate an access key there.
