hi all.,

i faced one problem in BOM.

My scenario is : Header Level Picking , Packing and stock also,but item level Pricing Only .

but i have no stock for header level.while creating the sales order ,BOM is exploded and all information came to the sales order.But the creating delivery Sub-item is copied to the delivery , but not coming in header.i will agreed but no stock to the header.

<b>My question is : 1.why should sub item is coming to the delivery without header ?

2. header level stock is not available , Sub-item should not coming to the delivery ?</b>Pls very urgent.

Hi,

For BOM materials especially in your scenarion we have to create Delivery group in that we have to mention the subitems by maintaining the delivery group we can solve the issue in delivery.

Hi Lakshman,

Please check your copy control setting and item category determination in S.O & dely.doc.

Also, assign respective item cat.group to your material (LUMF or ERLA) and maintain delivery group.

Since header level is not copied into dely doc you might not be able to see and as you aware Header level BOM item stock availability depends upon the sum-item's stock availability for the same you can use delivery group to control delivery.

I will give you the correct process as per your scenario listed here. Since you want pricing carried out at sub - item level do these things:

1. Maintain the material stock at the said plant, alll of the parts at sub item level.

2. Maintain the material stock at the said plant of the header level

3. Go to header level material and change the item cat. in sales org 2 screen to "LUMF".

4.Maintain the same delivery group for all sub level items in the Order.

5. Please maintain pricing condition records for all material created / being used in this scenario.

This should solve your problem and also your queries...
