Hello all,

Why these are used "Exchange Fault data & Echange logdata"? are they automatically taken or we have to give their structure.

Can I use this data type for ACK in synchronous communications?

Hi

The fault message types is to track the application specific errors and send it to the sender system. They find their use in scenarios like ABAP and java proxies.

Hi Srinivas,

these are normal data types provided with namespace for the purpose of error handling .When u are having any system error or configuration you can use these data types to create yr message type and use thses message types in interface as default message and when the error happens in the receiving system for example thses are returned to XI and can be viewed in MONI
