Hi ,
why don't we crate a communication channel for idoc on sender side, but when we go for receiver side we create communication channel .
please let me know how an idoc converted in to idoc-xml while transfer to integartion engine from sender side.( with out idoc adapter on sender side)
The idoc is like a data container very specific to SAP. Tthe generated idocs are originated from SAP system which is send to the other end via <u>ale config</u> and this ale config restricts the need of configuring sender idoc adapter
Since idoc adapter is a part of abap stack the idoc xml transformation happens in the abap stack before the message is transmitted to the IE.

Idoc and http adapters reside on ABAP stack. So communication to Integration server could be mae directly without use of jco calls. Integration Server is not concerned with the sender system type at this point. Thus avoiding the need of sender agreement.
At receiver side, the communication is required from the Integration server to the outside system. For this receiver agreement is a must
<i>with out idoc adapter on sender side</i>
It is not without IDOC adapter. The communication at sender also passes through the Idoc adapter. It is just that sender agreement is not required.

hi prateek,
<i>The communication at sender also passes through the Idoc adapter.</i>
with our configuring idoc adapter on sender side, how can an idoc passes through idoc adapter, is this because idoc adapter resides in abap stack.
can u briefly describe how can an idoc convert in to idoc-xml before comming to integration engine.
if idoc adapter is on abap stack then
in case of <b>file to idoc</b>
why we go for idoc adapter . (con't the process same as reciver side) .
please give brief explain to each of my questions.

Yes. The Idoc directly enters the Idoc adapter (sender) before entring the Integration server.

At receiver it should be mentioned explicitly by XI where to send data and thus the receiver agreement is a must
