Hello Shankar,

Kindly go through

Hi shankar Narayana

Do u mean Client export/Import or the whole Database copy(System refresh)?

In the case of Export/Import its quite simple.

Just goto scc8 T-code and export the data which you require with the profiles like SAP_ALL, SAP_CUST etc.,

Export the files which you get in /usr/sap/trans/data; /usr/sap/trans/co-files to the target system.

In target just import the data using scc7 T-code.

Select the data you want to import using the same profiles again.

If you require system copy procedure please let me know.

Hi,

The remote client copy is time consuming and will be depend on the network connection. It is not suggest to do the remote client copy for a large database.

You can go ahead with client export and import process to refresh the client.

But before starting client copy, turn off the archiving and proceed.

hi,

Do a Client Export/Import. That would be much faster compared to Remote Client Copy.

Hi,

You can overwrite the existing client data in quality with the prd data.

For system refresh you need to have similar sapdata filesystems in quality as in production.

Thanks,

Sandy.
