Locations in SRM Org Structure

Dear SRMers

System Information: SRM 4.0, R3 4.6c

Sometime back, We replicated plants from R3 to SRM using the program BBP_Locations_Get_Selected.

Now for some plants the description has been updated in R/3 and we would like to manually update the plant description in SRM.

a.) Can I know which table in SRM contains the plant information, so we can change the description.

b.) And after changing the plant description on the SRM side, do we need to do any transports of the changes ?

Points will be rewarded!

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

Bob

Hi,

If the description change in the backend , you can change it in SRM automatically using report BBP_LOCATION_SET_T001W_NAME

With this report you don't have to do the change manually in SRM !!

Kind regards,

Hi Yann & Atul & Disha,

Thanks for the information. Is there a way to provide a dump of the differences between

SRM and R/3 plant descriptions.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi

Locations in SRM ~~ Plants in R/3 Back-end

You have replicated the locations from R/3 system into SRM from the executing SRM system using the report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL.

See also SAP Note 563180 (locations - replication of R/3 plants)

Yann, Atul & Disha,

Thanks a lot folks!

Running the report BBP_LOCATION_SET_T001W_NAME solved the problem.

Best Regards,

Bob.

Hi

Please go through this link below ->

Try SRM report BBP_LOCATION_SET_T001W_NAME

BBP_LOCMAP table contains plant names

Hope this will definitely help.
