Hello all,
Is there a way to automate backups for SAPDB using the Database Manager version 7.4? I only see options to manually run full backups and to "automate log backup" and no option to schedule routine backups for Full SAPDB backups. Can this be done through the Database Manager and how?
Thanks much for any input,
Jason
if database is small, check the following link for a script that saves backup on disk... then use an Os backup utility to backup this file to tape:

Hello Jason,
-> What is the version of your database?
1)
You could not automate backups for SAPDB using the Database Manager version 7.4. Using the DBMGUI you can only run database backups immediately.
Are you SAP customer? Using the planning calendar on SAP system, you can schedule the database backup to run at the specific date/time.
