BPM fails due to error "Permanenter Fehler in der BPE Eingangsverarbeitung"

hi all,

i searched the forum and haven't got a proper solution for this.

My scenario is that i am getting a message via a file adapter and sending it to BPM. In my BPM i am receiving this message via a asyc receive step and then

calling a SAP RFC via a synchronous send step. But when i see the result in transaction SXMB_MONI i see that my BPM could not be processed due to an error message in the queue "Permanenter Fehler in der BPE Eingangsverarbeitung".

Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

thanks and regards,

Abhishek

Hi,

@Bhavesh: the receiver CC is fine.

@Sumit: The BPE is not stopped , i tested with both filetofile scenario as well as file to rfc(async) scenario.

Abhishek,

Could you please summarize the BPM design , I mean the steps involved.

Hi Abhishek,

Not sure if this would help you ...but try this..

Did you check the return code of the Integration Process in Cache. Is it 0.

Secondly try to run a simple file2file scenario with using BPM and check if the scenario works.

My guess is that you are getting the error because some configuration has not been done. Check if the BPE is not stopped.Use t-code SWF_XI_ADM_BPE

Do post if you have additional queries...

Sumit

This is a english forum, you would need to provide the error in ENglish.

Did a google, and the error is <b>Permanent error in the BPE entrance processing</b>

Can you check in which step the error has occured?

Hi Bhavesh,

Thanks for ur prompt reply.

As i mentioned about my scenario,

- The first step which is the async receive step is posted successfully.

-The problem seems to be in the sync send step, i can say this since if i do a async send step instead of sync then there is no problm.

-Another thisng i noticed is that on seeing at the corresponding queue which gives me this error information, i can see an 'undefined step' in the graphical workflow.May be this is a problem.

Kindly let me know if u need further info.

Thanks

hmm..

Can you check the status of the Receiver RFC adapter in Comm Channel Monitoring. This should maybe provide more details.

Hi Abhishek,

'undefined step' .. i dont think that creates any problem...

In your sync send step ...wht all properties have you selected for the step?

Secondly which SP are you in ?

Sumit
