Components in the namespace not editable

Dear friends,

I've used NWDI / CMS to transport a namespace from DEV to QaS and eventually to PROD. Everything looks fine the only thing is that the namespace has now the status not editable in DEV, so I cant edit anything in that namespace.

Can you tell me if thats a option in XI or NWDI? Because I have to change something in the mapping but I cant do that cuz the whole namespace has the status not modifiable.

U can change it in Software Component version

Click on SW component

Under the namespace there is a option <b>Objects Are Mod</b>ifiable: choose this then u can edit in dev.

it's good as you shoud edit in DEV and transport again

in XI - you can change it when you click on software component

(two little check at the bottom - objects are changeable etc)

Hi

once u transported to the production server u cant modify anything where as u can do this in the development server because u dont sufficient rights to do this.if u want ask ur basis administrator he may assign the rights to u.
