Hi Hema,
If Warehouse management is in Picture:
then cycle is:
VA01 --> VL01N --> LT03 --> LT12 --> VL02N ( Press button "Posting of Goods Issue" ) --> VF01
Otherwise :
VA01 --> VL01N --> VL02N ( Press button "Posting of Goods Issue" ) --> VF01
Check for the stock in T.Code MMBE.
Reward if found useful.

1. Create a delivery for the sales order in VL01N
2. In the picking tab of delivery document put the delivery quantity which needs to be picked(always picking quantity = delivery quantity) if the item is not relevant for warehouse mngt. If warehouse mngt is enabled, then do picking through LT03
3. Once picking is done, you have to just click the button Post Goods Issue button on the top , in the delivery creation screen itself. This will create the goods issue.
Now you can see in MMBE transaction code that the stock quantity reduces by the goods issue quantity.
Reward if it helps.
