Hi,

Division is not assigned to the plant.

Division is assigned to sales org.

Dear Hemavathy,

Plant be assigned to division coz the invoice or proforma invoice will get generated according to the division.

If its sales related- Invoice

If its stock transfer- Proforma invoice.

A division is the product group to which a wide spectrum of products belongs to, and its Importance is significant mostly for analysis. A Sales area is assigned to a plant. A sales area consist of Sales Org + Dist. Channel + Division. The relation is Many --> Many

Division is never assinged to a Plant

Division is assigned to a Sales Organization.

Combination of Sales Organization and Distribution Channel is assigned to a Plant - This assignment is called Distribution Chain in SAP terminology.

a plant is not assigned to division . it is assigned to company code

division is not assigned to plant, it is assigned to sales org

Hi ,

i will say there is a assignment between plant divion and business area .

This assigmnet is done to uniquely identify the business are for a particulat combination.
