Can any one suggest any documentation on APO or How to go about??

Hi Suresh,

It would be good if you can search this forum for question similar to yours. This has been asked a number of times and answered also.

Mostly the answers point to the following:

1. <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SCM/Main">SCM</a> Wiki where the <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SCM/AdvancedPlanningOptimization">APO</a> Pages provide details like good Forum Discussions, relevant SAP Notes, FAQs etc. For more details look at the third sticky where Business Process Procedures, Configuration Guides are available.

Given you background as MM Consultant, Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning modules of APO could be a good starting point.
