Multiple Counter Plan

Hello Gurus,

I have created a multiple counter plan and assigned a counter to it. The unit of measurement in the measuring point is HUR. My requirement is to trigger a sevice order when the counter reading exceeds 1000 HUR. I have taken reading a couple of times to make it 1020 HUR. In the schedule of the plan it shows that reading 1020, schedule on hold. It is creating the schedule but not releasing it automatically. How can we make it automised?

Hi,

Entering the measurement values is not enough. You also have to do deadline monitoring. This is handled by transaction IP30 (as mentioned by RP). Normal procedure would be to run this program on regular basis in background. It takes the new measurements in account and schedules the maintenance plans. Counter values will be translated to new plan times. If a plan time is due, the notification/order is automatically created.

I am sure it should work, have you run IP10 or IP30 for that maintenance plan?
