Hi All,
I am installing NW2004s SR2 ERP2005(ECC6) AS-ABAP on MSSQL Server 2005/Windows 2003. This is a POC installation prior to the implementation of the TDMS product - which requires an "underlying" SAP system as I understand it.
My question is.....am I able to install this configuration having installed SQL Server 2005 (patched to SP1), then run sapinst as follows:
1) Global Instance preparation
2) database instance install (**giving one datafile of 5GB)
3) central instance install
....using only a 72GB disk?
As I see it, no matter what size datafiles I provide during the sapinst custom parameter input, the Import ABAP phase fills up the datafiles (**and also grows it), so I have filled up a 20GB partition and had to restart a couple of times already.
So I guess I am also asking what is the smallest sized ECC6 installation I can get away with?
Thanks,
Chaz.
Charles,
The smallest size of ECC 6 installation files with db + log around 75gb
Regards
