Idocs using proxy

Hello friends,

Could any one give me blogs related to IDOC to File Scenario using Proxy.

Idoc is a way of communication of SAP system with other system. Similarly Proxy is another way through which XI communicates with SAP system. So Idoc to file would be a separate scenario. And i think " IDOC to File Scenario using Proxy" is a bit incorrect usage

Raju,

In few of our cases where we were supposed to send material related information we choose proxy since the requirement was only to send few fields and for the same IDOC was not the good choice as it contains huge number of data. In that case we wrote a custom extract program through which we use to send data to XI.

Hence IDOC to File scenario using Proxy may not be feasible but u can try this evaluation before going for interface design.

Hey Raju,

here you need to understand onething..i.e., IDOC is an interface and Proxy is an interface...i mean IDOC and PROXY are two different interfaces.
