Clarify on scripts transportation: RSTXSCRP - DEV10 to 20,SE09 - dev to Q

Hi Gurus,

I have a doubt on transport of scripts.

I know that

i1)if u want to transport sapscript <b>one clinet (dev 10)to another client(dev20</b>) than use transaction SCC1or Execute the Report RSTXFCPY to copy the form between the clients

(or)

Following programs can be used to download from/upload to SAP System : exc se38:<b>RSTXR3TR or RSTXSCRP or RSTXTRAN ..</b>

2)if u want to transport sap script from <b>dev server not client. to qa(quality) server </b> just release the request from se09.

Please cclear me on server and client transports>>>>>>>>>>>>>

MY doubt is do we get a transport request while saving the script with apackage , which should be user in SE09 TO transport the form form DEV to QLITY server?

2) coming to clinets dev10 to 20, only we have to use teh forme name right, but i am seeing teh transpor tno filed also????

Hi Sridhar,

We will get a transport request while saving a script and you should transport that using SE09 when transporting from DEV to QA.

And if you want to transport from DEV 10 to 20, we have to use the form name in SCC1.
