Actions to be done after upgrade to ST-SER 700_2007_1

I upgrade to ST_400 SP12 and furthermore ST-SER 700_2007_1 and now I get on many places "403" HTTP error from ICF.

Is there anywhere documentation on what to do after implementing that SP? I don´t want to click somewhere, get an error, activate service, go back click two steps further and fix the next error.

Since the customizing paths changed completely between SP11 and SP12 I´m really confused if I really need to execute everything again since the system is already in "production".

Regards,

Markus

Hi Markus,

the services used by the Solman are listed in the documentation of the IMG activity SOLMAN_ACTIV_SERVICE

trx: SPRO

SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide

-SAP Solution Manager

- Configuration

- Basic Settings

- Standard Configuration of Basic Settings

- Solution Manager

- HTTP Services

- Activate Solution Manager Services

Also have a look into the PDF file: DN_SolMan_400_Stack12.pdf

from http://service.sap.com/solutionmanger

-> Media Library -> Technical Papers

which also mentions the new services from SP12.

regards,

Thomas

Thank you for the hint!

But which of those do I need to activate? Does SolMan use e.g. Web Dynpro? What else need to be done (aside from SICF)?

I checked that note - and in sense of security considerations, I won´t blindly activate ALL of them - just those, that are USED by SolMan.

E. g. there´s no BW running on that system so I doubt, I need to activate those.

Which of those services is used by SolMan?
