actually this is a FERT and i am talking about insp lot while delivery (insp type 10).

check in tcode OMJJ for your movement type ex 601 for delivery

against deactivate qm inspection /delivery category indicator has been enabled.

i have maintained insp. type 10 in mtrl master and it is active too.but still system is not generating insp lot after outbound delivery.

what may the reason?

i have gone thru the path u said but i didnt found any field for lot origin there where i can maintain lot origin.

actually insp lot origin field is there but it is freezed and with lot origin 2.

how can i change it?

Appropriate inspection lot origins have been entered for all movement types in the standard system that contain materials to be inspected. <u>The use of other inspection lot origins is not supported</u>.

For certain movement types that do not usually require inspections (such as reversal movement types) inspection lot creation is deactivated.

Why do you want to change the Lot origin for a movement type?

For the system to be able to create an inspection lot for a goods movement, the appropriate inspection lot origin must be entered in the update view for the movement type

Path: SPRO -->Quality Management > Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot creation--> Inspection for Goods Movements
