Query Regarding Change Request management !!

Hey friends,

I want to know one thing about CHARM?

Lets assume that we implement CHARM in satellite system landscape.

After the implementing Charm Can we still create Transport request without using CHARM ??

I mean if a user logged into satellite system ( who does not have user id in solution manager ) creates transport request, will that transport request be created.??

Hai Suzzane,

Yes we can create transport request if proper authorization is maintained.

Under normal condition the developers will have the authorization to create transport request in satellite systems.

When we introduce charm,we must remove that authorization to have total control from charm.If the developer is still haveing the authorization to create he can create TP.
