I'll explain the use of webservice with an example. There is third party vendor who exposed the Currency and there conversion rates as webservice. So he developed webservice which accepts request as Country and give the response as the Conversion rate.
Let say your application needs to know the conversion rate for some X country. So in XI we will generate the request and will send the request to the WSDL provided by the third party vendor. Once they received the request they will send back the response to us(XI).
Do you think is it possible in File. If I didn't unsderstood ur question correctly can u eloborate ur question, please.
