steps in XI inst allation

Hi all

I am new to XI . ihave installed XI System . the problem is that i am not able to c SDM server in MMC.

i have installed SAp NW04 with ABAP system and also installed JAVA AddOn for ABAB system on Same HOST . I have insttalled XI component .

1 XI

2 J2ee adapter

I am not able to c JSPM on my machine .

Can any body guide me the prorpewr install step for the same

The SDM does not show up in the MMC with NW04 until you have applied some SP's. I do not remember the exact level which is required.

You can however see weather or not SDM is running by starting JCMON. It is located in your SCS01/exe directory. You will need to pass it the central instance profile like: jcmon pf=...

Also, JSPM is not available until NW2004s. You will not have JSPM on a 6.40 system.

Your Information tends me to thing to right direction .... to work for.

Yes SDM is running ok thugh Command prompt ..

I will Look and conferm you for the same

It should already be on your installation.

Open the command prompt in directory /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE_NAME >/SDM/program and execute:

sdm jstartup mode=integrated

This should install it on the MMC.

I have Installed ABAP system + JAVA Add On + XI components

do i have to insatll SAP JAVA SYSTEM insted for JAVA Addon because i am not bale to c JSPM also .
