Dear All,
My company is one of the top ten bank of the world. It have operation in 68 different country. We are using SAP 4.7 EE for non banking operation. MM is widely use for procurement of service, asset, cosumable material & for project. We don't have procure material for inventory.
All procurement materials are non-stock material.
Can any body so kind to give some suggestion regarding how SRM can add value to our business process.
Keeping our business in mind, is it advisable for us to implement SRM.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sp sahu
Hi Sp sahu ,
SRM in the banking sector is widly used as procurement is not a core competence
of banks. The related scenario for your case is Self Service Procurement within
SRM. There are several advantages with a valid for your company. The usage of
SRM give a more convinient application to shop for products and services. By
standardizing products and services in catalogs - usage of supplier catalogs
and/or marketplaces (outsourcing of this function in your industry is best practise)
- procurement is focused, number of free text items are reduced, invoice control
gets reduced etc. Overall, the headcount can be reduced.
Cheers,
Claudia
