hai guys,
in customer master i want some fields only to be in the display mode, after creating the customer master ?, how to achieve this ?

Go to OBD2 you can do display any field in the CMR
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
this is done in accoutn groups
while creating account groups u can choose which felds have to be dispalyed nad which fields to be option etc...but this is done by FI people,ithink
or in collabaration with them sd people do it

Check the setting of fields in OBD2.Here you can mark those field status as per the requirement.or use Screen and transaction variants in SHD0

if i use OBD2 .. the fiekds will be either suppress, optional, mandatory.
this will bw useful while entering the customer master data , but my requirment is that the system should take the data while entering the masters,but once saved the some fields should be greyed out in the change mode that is XD02.
