Hello experts,
We are using SRM 5.0 connected to a Central User Administration.
So far, users have been created in CUA and replicated to EBP (SU01 level). Then we use the users_gen transaction-> Copy User and Employee Data from Template -> Create users from existing SU01 users via RFC.
This has been OK for testing purposes, but the usual way for massively creating users directly from a file will not work, since this standard program creates SU01 users, Positions, business parters and employee at the same time.
Has anyone encountered this issue?
Is there a way to massively assign Position, BP and Employee to the Org. Structure, given a CUA-SU01 replication scenario?
Regards,
Gilberto Gallardo
Hi Gilberto,
what you described, is the same we did discover. It is the way to handle the
process in a SRM CUA environment. I also tested the process without CUA as the
environment has been quite huge, but was not practicable for Support. Finally the
organization got back to CUA and mass generation via users_gen. The effort is the
most for initialization, later in ongoing production it is not that of a issue.
Cheers,
Claudia
