Error in Support packs.

Hi All,

Error while trying to start importing any support packs using SPAM.

"Form S_docu_show language is not active and has no errors"

It is somethign that I need to do in SE71 but not sure..

Can someone suggest what need to be done.

This is an old discussion but it shows up as a top pick in Google when searching for this error message, so I'm just adding information here.

This issue and solution is described in the KBA article  1947044 - Form S_DOCU_SHOW language is not active and has no errors

I found that this error can appear not only in SPAM/SAINT but also while trying to modify a program in SE38, for example, in a new system copy. Really wish SAP would patch it though - the whole ABAP editor should not be locked out because of this.

Hi,

Step:1

The language environment that comes with the standard SAP installation includes German and English. To use SAP with other languages, you must perform a language import or supplement (use transaction SMLT). Changes in the language environment usually require changes in the codepage setup, which requires changes in some database tables and in the profile files.

Most language administration can be done with transactions SMLT and SP12, and reports RSCP0001, RSCP0004, RSCP0017, and RSCP0020.

Step:2

Just goto smartforms main window--

---

>click on utilities->click on settings-->click on form painter tab--

---

>check mark on ACTIVE field..

(otherwise 😞

go to transaction SE71

give your form name (e:g) ZMSCRIPT

give the language (in which ever u have created the form)

click on change on the menu bar goto FORM and click on Activate

Step:3

In your Se38 report porgram , your calling OPEN_FORM, Here you have to give Form name , so Give Form name as Capital Letters

otherwise :

goto-->se66t-code >utilities tab> setting>go to language tab>here its source & target language--> go to change the language and save it.

Yes, I am inporting in 000 only and need to some margin and other settings in SE71 but not having exact idea..to go ahead..

Hi experts, after migrate to netweaver, in transaction saint and spam i recived the error:

Form S_DOCU_SHOW language is not active and has

no errors

this ocurrs in lenguage EN, Es and DE (in all client 000,400, ...)

the general log in sm21 is:

Documentation for system log message D0 1 :

The transaction has been terminated. This may be caused by a

termination message from the application (MESSAGE Axxx) or by an

error detected by the SAP System due to which it makes no sense to

proceed with the transaction. The actual reason for the termination

is indicated by the T100 message and the parameters.

Form & language & is not active and has no errors

&CAUSE&

The form assigned to the document is not active.

&SYSTEM_RESPONSE&

The form will not be formatted.

&WHAT_TO_DO&

Please check in the SAPscript form maintenance transaction and see

whether the form exists and, if this is the case, whether an active

version exists. An active version does not exist if you find the entry

New in the status line of the form maintenance transaction.

If the form you selected does not exist, either assign a form that

already exists to your document, or create a new form which can be used

for your document once it has been generated.

You activate a new form using the function Generate.

It is also possible for an error to occur even if your form has the

status 'active'. This error message is the result of extended checks,

that were not available the last time that your form was activated. In

this case, please select the menu option Form -> Check -> Definition

and complete the actions specified in the resulting message.

A typical error: A text element in window ... does not contain a name.

In this case, display the text elements and ensure that each text

element (format column /E) has a name so that it can be addressed by

the print program. The default text element (at the beginning, no /E)

is addressed and processed automatically. Never enter /E without a name

following it.

I hope you are importing packages in client 000 only. Check the form in SE71 in client 000.
