Stopping Delivery Document from proceeding further

Hi,

I have a business requirement where I have to put some special delivery documents(belonging to certain sales order types) created should go in Shipment Document.

So we have to Stop Delivery document from going further without being on Shipment. The bottom line is they should not be PGIed without Shipment document.

Any Ideas?

Thought about putting requirement in WMTA output which blocks Picking.

But any other ideas.

If you want to block PGI before shipping document, please make use of the BADI

LE_SHP_GOODSMOVEMENT and here you can enable your logic.

This BADI is not active in the standard system. You can activate it after enabling your logic.

This will be a better way than to put a routine at picking output.If you do this, the logic will work only when the masterdata for the pickign output is correct or inly when the picking output is triggered. For some reasons, if you want to stop your picking output, then the functionality wont work. So this BADI will be better.
