Regarding Communication Between Uni-code And the Non- Unicode Systems

Hi All,

Can We Communicate Between Uni-code And the Non- Unicode Systems ?????

Here in My SAP XI Server-Sm59----- I have the RFC SAPSLDAPI with Unicode

In SAP R/3 Server--Sm59--

I Have the RFC SAPSLDAPI with Non-Unicode

Is this will be the Cause to Disturb the Communication Between these two Server ???

Please let me Know

As long as the rfc and JCo connections are set correctly you should not have a problem.

I used a landcsape like this for two years without any problems.

If your XI and SAP r/3 systems are configured properly, all the connections are setup, all additional plugins are loaded, you will not have a problem and the communication works very well!

You have never described your problem here

Follow what is said in installation and/or configuration guide.

I cannot comment as there is not enough information about your system versions the steps you have taken and have not worked.

What is you R/3 version?

If it is 4.7 or before there is Plug in to apply!

Hi ,

Here We Are Using SAP IDES Server as R/3 Server.

First here We Installed PI 7.0

And After that We Run the Template Installer for PI.

After that We Checked with All the Connections Like SLDCHECK .

Unexpectedly The Business System Of the XI Removed From SLD.

Then We Created the BS of XI Manually Witht the Role of Integration Server. And there we Mentioned the URL of the IS With Udo's Sugession .

Then I am Trying to Create a TS of type Web As ABAP For R/3 Server

By Executing the Transaction Codes SLDAPICUST and RZ70. ( To Register the TS Of My IDES Server in SLD )

THen I Got that the RFC's Are Not Working here ( SAPSLDAPI && LCRSAPRFC )

I Checked With Those RFC's in IDES Server. Here These r Not Working Here.

First time The SLDCHECK Gave the Success State.

But Now It's Not Working

This is what I Did From the Starting

I Opened a Lot Threads Regarding All these Issues in the Past

Please Help me in this Issue.
