problem to connect to the backend system from visual composer

hi,

i was unable to connect to backend systems.check your system definition and user privelages is the error when i am trying to connect to system.

Hi Rajesh

If ur backend system is working properly in portal and face the problem in VC.

You can solve this by take Super Admin rights from Admin Team to ur used id.

I have solved this problem in this way.

For giving super admin rights to the user, you need to assign super_admin role to the user using User Administration. For information about how to assign role, go through the following doc:

Hi Rajesh,

You must be using EP 6.0 i guess.

See slide 22 in the following presentation:

You might not be having the exact <b>Identity Management</b> tab under User Administration, but there would be something else. If you try looking into, you will understand. The functionality is more or less the same.

If u have access roles of User Administration in Portal, then u can provide Super Admin Roles to ur user and follow the following link.

Hi Rajesh

I think the user id with which you have logged into VC needs to be given permissions to the backend system.

if you have the necessary permissions then may be the backend is not in running state.

hi navneet,

i am able to see my system alias in drop down list in visual composer and when i check that in portal its working fine i.e i can able to connect to a r/3 system but in vc i am getting that error and i dont know how to set permission .
