ITS vs ICM

with ICM configured, is still necessary to install and configure ITS? what advantages does ITS offer over ICM

If you are on WAS 6.4 ITS is integrated (but some functionality of the standalone ITS wont be available).

ICM makes you ABAP engine HTTP enabled

ITS - its a bridge between web browser and SAP engine - with its converting standard SAP GUI to HTML format is simpler.

Can you tell what you are trying to do , may be then we can give a better suggestion as to which is better.
