Header Condition

Former Member

Hi All,

I have configured header conditiona for Advance Payment and Freight.

I want the value to be put against this condition at the header level and it should get divided on a pro rata basis to all line item in the Sales Order.

What is happening is that it is getting passed 'as it is' in all the line items so the value is getting increased by the number of items being sold.

Eg. If I am selling 5 articles and put advance condition or freight condition as $10, it is increasing the value of the Sales Order by five times i.e. $50.

In the condition type i have configured as follows :

Cond. Class - A 'Discount or Surcharge'

Calculation type - B ' Fixed Amount'

Cond. Category - e 'Down Payment Request'

Please advise howI troubleshoot this.

Thanks

Raheel

In condition type go to "Structure Condition"

Following are the options

Empty

A Condition to be duplicated Ex.: DUPL

B Cumulation condition Ex.: KUMU

So select B

Your error will be solved.

Thanks Ayub,

I tried taking option B in structure condition, it gave the following error,

<i>'Calculation type B has not been designed for structure condition B'</i>.

I tried other combinations but all gave similar errors and finally the error said, <i>'Structure condition B should not be a header condition'.</i>The combination of <i>'Calculation Type'</i> and <i>'Structure Condition'</i> is not allowing me to proceed.

Please suggest.

Hi

In the condition type , if the calculation type is B and the condition type is header condition, then set the checkbox group condition and then test the scenario.

This will work fine.

Also read the oss note 876617 for this purpose.

Reward me full points if the problem is solved.

YOU CAN GIVE ME UR ID SO THAT I CAN SEND THE OSS NOTE TO YOU.

Guys, thanks for the response, unfortunately the problem persists.

i tried both your recommendations, i.e. HB00 and using the group condition option.

Now the total at the header level is getting distributed, but the sum of this distribution is becoming greater then the value put at the header level.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi

When you are clicking the group condition button, also dont forget to click the Round Diffcomp button too. this will make sure that there is no such difference between header value and the value of item totals.

BTW, i have sent the OSS note to ur email id.

hai,

try header condition HB00, which distributes proportionally the values to

all the item conditions.
