Upgrade assistant

Hi all,

we are planning to upgrade BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 , i have gone thru docs and found we have to start Upgrade assitant to start the upgrade process.

On which DVD i can found this or i have to download from marketplace.

Any suggestions.....

Hi

Normally the Upgrade Master DVD consists the upgrade tools .

You have to run Prepare.bat (windows) /Prepare (unix) to extract all files to the upgrade folder (/usr/sap/trans/put).

Then need to start Prepare/Upgrade assistant tools

Can check page 72 of document "SAP NetWeaver 2004s Application Server ABAP Support Release 2 , upgrade guide for more details.
