We try to put a message on service desk with transaction NOTIF_CREATE but the system return Message "IMPORT PARAMETER 00000000... is missing or is not complete"

Can anybody help us?

Hi Alexander,

In our configuration on transaction SNRO with number range CRM_SERVIC we found this:

01 8000000000 8999999999 8000000409

with ext flag not check, and don't have a second line.

What's the second line data? because it isn't have a values.

In the definition of the transaction types in the box "Transaction Numbering" we can't put "02" i think because don't exist the second line with this interval.

Thanks,

Claudia

Hi Claudia,

just to answer your question (even if you have marked the question as answered). The interval number 2 has in the standard delivery the following content:

02 9999000000 9999999999 <blank> X

I have had a message open with SAP for months trying to get an answer to this question.

It appears that there is a contradiction in SAP documentation in the IMG and note 1054063.

The IMG activity ‘Check number range for Service Desk Message’ says to do the following:

In this IMG activity, you check the internal and external number ranges

to the Service Desk.

Activities

1. Select the transaction type SLFN.

2. Choose Goto -> Details.

3. Check the internal number range 01 and the external number range 02

under Transaction / Numbering.

4. Save your changes.

This is impossible. You can not save the screen because number range 02

does not exist.

This also appears to contradict note 1054063 which says "The two number ranges are no longer synchronized". Who is correct, the people who wrote the IMG or the people who wrote the OSS note? Or am I reading the note wrong?

SAP delivers a value '02' for the SLFN transaction type external number

range in all the BC sets. However the number range object CRM_SERVIC

does not have an external number range so the transaction is inconsistent.

Every time I apply a support pack or activate a BC set it breaks the

Service Desk. This leads to the error ‘Because of error 513, no message

was created in Support Desk’.

SAP development needs to fix this so it doesn’t keep appearing. When

the client applies a support package a year from now they should not

have to deal with this issue.

I believe I have two choices and I want to make the correct one:

1) Remove 02 from the external number range field of transaction type SLFN

2) Add an internal number range 02 to CRM_SERVIC.

Hi Alexander,

We check the message configuration on DNO_CUST01 transaction with SLF1 but we don't found an error or anything wrong, the parameters are:

Notificat. Type SLF1

ShortTxt NotTyp Service Basis Messag

LongTxt NotType Service Basis Messag (ABA Message)

Number Range 01

Status Profile

FunctionCreator RP

Func.Curr.Proc. PR

Application DNO_NOTIF

Action Profile ZLFN0001_ADVANCED_KCC

On Define Transaction types we defined a range number like this:

Text Det. Procedure SLFN0001 Support Desk Text Header

Partner Determ.Proc. SLFN0001 Service Desk Partner Header

Status Profile ZLFN0001

Org. Data Prof.

Partner Function ORG 001 SOLD TO PARTY

Date Profile SLFN_HEADER

Action Profile ZLFN0001_ADVANCED_KCC

AP Procedure

Obj. Ref. Prof.

No.Range Object CRM_SERVIC CRM Service Process

Int.No.Range No 01

Ext.No.Range No

And Early No. Assgn is checked.

Can you tell us if there are another transaction on spro that we can search or what customizing we lost.

Thanks,

Claudia

Hello Claudia,

please use DNO_NOTIF or SNRO with number range interval DNO_NOTIF to check SLF1 number ranges. After pressing the button "Intervals" you should see a list of three possible ones. The first line should have the "external" flag NOT set.

In the definition of the transaction types in the box "Transaction Numbering" you have to give an "Ext No Range No" of "02". (That I miss in your message).

To check the number ranges of SLFN use transaction CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE or SNRO with number range CRM_SERVIC. Pressing here the "Intervals" button should show a list of two lines, where in the second the glag "external" should be set.

But I think the missing "02" is the cause of your problem.

Hi Claudia,

I had the same behaviour some weeks ago. The reason was an incorrect setting of the number ranges of SLF1 or SLFN. I suggest to doublecheck the relevant part of the customizing documentation again.

Hope it helps,

best regards, Alexander
