Hi Friends,
can any one tell me a what is the difference b/w offline and online Pdf's
Thanks,
vino
hi Vinoth,
<b>in the ONLINE scenario</b> you fill the form online, i.e. your PDF form is within a WebDynpro View. in this scenario there is a mapping between the interactive form UI elements and the Web Dynpro context.
Any changes done to the UI element's conten are reflected back in the Web Dynpro Context and vice versa.
<b>in the OFFLINE scenario</b> you get an offline copy of the PDF form. which you can fill and save on ur filesystem. when online you upload this offline PDF form with data saved in it to your Web Dynpro application and again you get all data stored in the form mapped into the corresponding WebDynproContext. which thus is available to you for programming use.
hope this helps...

Hello,
This refers more to the scenarios than to the forms themselves.
You typically fill an online form while connected to an application running on your server (you would do the same with a screen);
offline forms are filled locally, when you're disconnected for instance (<a href="/people/francois.gendebien/blog/2007/03/22/sap-interactive-forms-by-adobe-offline-scenarios-possibilities">more information about this can be found here</a>).
Regards,
Francois
