SC can be edited after Approval.....

Former Member

Hello Gurus,

This is the Major Issue i have never faced.just have a look.

I have my user created the shopping cart, the SC went for Approval,

sc approved and a follow on document was created in the Backend-R/3

as Purchase Requisition.

Now the unsual thing is that, the User is able to Edit/Delete the SC.

We could see the cart in the backend only and It seems that the system allowed the requisitioner to update/delete this shopping cart even after the approval process was completed in SRM and a R/3 requisition was already created. Please verify.

when the user deleted the item in the SC it was also updated in the PR in the backend as item deleted.

i think shouldnt happen.

can any 1 help me in this

is there anything missing from my side.

any configuration to be done not to allow user to edit/delete the SC.

Thanks

Arshad.

Hello Arshad,

You can modify the user role in Personalization tab, double click on

BBP_WFL_SECURITY

and set "None" (changes to the object are not allowed).</b>

I hope this helps you

I think Jose is right.

If you have the n step approval WF via BADI then the Personalization tab of the user nees to be set to None for the BBP_WFL_SECURITY.

This can be one of thereasons .

We want to allow changes only till shopping cart is not approved.

Once it is approved one should not be able to change it. Authorisation level "None" does not allow changes after shopping cart is saved. Please suggest how we can restrict users for changing the approved shopping carts.

Hi,

This is standard behaviour : once the PR or PO created, the user can still delete the SC line items (not the SC !). The deletion is then forwarded into the PR or PO line item.

If you do not want this behaviour, you have to forbid in SRM Transaction PFCG.

In the single role for your user, uncheck the "delete" activity.

Kind regards,

yes Yann,

I agree with you, that User can delete the SC-Item,but he should not be able to Edit it.right?

and he is able to edit it after approval.

Thanku

Hi,

The SC can be printed : this is standard behaviour.

Please remember that the SC content is not always what is ordered in the PO.

I do not see why the requester would ne be able to print the SC once approved ?

However the requester should not have the possibility to change the content of the Sc once approved (standard behaviour)

Kind regards,

Yann
