I have to upgrade oracle from Oracle 8i (32bit) to oracle 10g (64bit).
Do you have a note to help me ?
Are there problems ?
Thank you,

Hi Philippe,
I think the following link lead you to upgrade oracle 8i to oracle 10g.

If you go to a different hardware in my opinion the best solution is export/import with R3load.
You will avoid a double upgrade from 8i to 9i and to 10g (or triple if your release isn't 8.1.7) and the conversion procedure 32bit->64bit.
Additionally, you can take advantage from the database reorganization.

HI Phillipie..
Please check the installation guides section of the sap site..
We have upgraded orur Database on unix from 9.2.0.7 to 10.2.0.2
so i do not have the guide to upgrade from 8i.
Once u go through the inst.giude u will get to know the required patchset needed, the interim patches etc etc also..
All the best for your upgrade..

If you go from 32bit to 64bit you will do a system copy to a different hardware?
