hi ameya,

for c project EP is not reqiured but when you go for x rpm and xpd tools of sap plm then EP is must.

What ever ideas comes that come through x pd and that integrate with EP ONLY.

Feasible ideas get filter and convertinto project.

in short if you whant to run only c project EP is not reqiured.

xpd stand for product defination , it use for collecting the ideas from oragnasition peoples.The feasible ideas are convert into concept and concept convert to project.

And when your dealing with single project the resoure mangment is easy but when you dealing with no. projects then resoure managment is not so simple and for manage many projetc you required x rpm.
