Can XI Developer will Work For the NWDI ???

I Mean Is it Possible to Work With NWDI Simply By Go through the Tutorials With Out Any Training ?????

I have been working through some of the tutorials.

I would recommend some Java training or use http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/java/nutsandbolts/index.html

By following the tutorials you do not pick up much of the Java language though.

Another way to look at it is - Can you write a book just because you read a novel?

You may pick up the basics, but you can also learn bad habits that training would potentially stop.

yes...you definately can if you are aware of at least the general concepts of how configuration mgmt / source control systems work and are used. like VSS / CVS & build tools like ANT / Maven.

if you are into XI from an ABAP background , then it might not be something very familier but if you come from J2EE background the NWDI , at least DTR & CBS part of it shouldnt be a big problem to understand and to work on..

The way I learnt it was trying hands on with it using a Sneak Preview of WebAS and installing NWDI on it....you can download the sneak peak from SDN and the corresponding version of NWDI from service marketplace.

as far as XI with NWDI is concerned , you can put your adapter modules / Java proxies / generic classes under source control using DTR & build using CBS.

Any tool/technology when undertook a training can be easily/ quickly grasped and learnt. For super humans, a training would probably not be needed

Sure,

the same applies to NWDI too. If you just take on tutorial, of course you will learn to use NWDI but it will take some time ( several months) but if you take on a training you will learn to work with it within several weeks
